Lovely B&B in great location

We enjoyed our stay at 3 Pen Cei very much. Our room on top floor was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lovely bathroom and excellent shower! Breakfast was very good, the highlight being the superb fruitsalad and local sausage.

The location right at the harbour is excellent - perfect for a stroll before or after dinner at a local restaurant.

Thank you Lesley and John, you were perfect hosts and we will return when next in Aberaeron.

Just simply wonderful. Thank you so much Lesley and staff. Breakfast, 6 star! What a lovely base for a peaceful break. Some lovely restaurants close by, beautiful views, just brilliant.

Can't praise 3 Pen Cei enough. thank you.

Alex Polizzi would love it!

Just what a B&B should be. A warm, warm welcome... 'free' tea/coffee and delightfully warmed Welsh Cakes brought to the room... attentive hosts, friendly, interested yet discreet and not over-bearing... the room (Aeron) was delightful, spotlessly clean, a true home-from-home. And just when you thought leaving was bad news, the 'brecwast' of all breakfasts! The beautifully soft maple cure bacon a highlight...

You just have to find a reason to be in Aberaeron - and to stay at 3 Pen Cei.

A perfect stay

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of this bed and breakfast accommodation. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Lesley I was at home. The tea and welsh cakes were just what we needed and set the tone for the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, at the top and the back. It was so quiet with a wonderful bed, exceptional linen and an ensuite second to none. The shower was amazing and the white, fluffy towels.

The breakfast was magnificent and set you up for the day. A large selection and the fresh fruit was just that. It was lovely to wander down to breakfast at our leisure, no pre-ordering or setting a time. Aberaeron is a wonderful place to stay and I know we will return to 3 Pen Cei at the first opportunity. I will also consider returning on my own, so homely and welcoming was the place and Lesley. Cannot recommend this 5 star Guest house enough. Thank you. A and C of Doncaster

What a gem!

I had to stay in the area for business and thought I'd try this award wining guest house, I'm so glad I did!

The owners were wonderful and very accommodating, the room was beautiful and had everything you could want. As for the breakfast, it was superb! I will recommend 3 pen cai to everyone, for any occasion.

Can't wait to return!

An Amazing Bed & Breakfast!!

We stayed here on a wet and stormy evening in June. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were made to feel totally welcome. On arrival we were met by Lesley who was so friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the Dyfi room, very well decortated, the bed and duvet amazing, the bathroom like you would expect in a five star hotel! We recoment you treat yourself to the Welsh Breakfast.

Thanks to Lesley for a lovely weekend!

I stayed here for one night with my mum this week. A very worthy recipient of its five star rating, beautifully decorated, our room was spacious and so comfortable. Lesley was welcoming and helpful and the position of the b and b on the harbour at Aberaeron is just perfect.

Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, fresh coffee, and a full cooked! However Lesley was happy just to cook a small vegetarian breakfast for me and my mum had delicious scrambled egg and smoked salmon.

Would love to return and can recommend to anyone.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Was in New Quay and decided to stay last minute in Aberaeron; the Harbourmaster was fully booked so went next door to Pen Cei. Luckily they had a cancellation so we got the room.

What a good bit of luck this turned out to be...Homely yet modern rooms still keeping their character, a better bathroom than i've seen in larger 5* hotels with complimentary coffee/biscuits and tea making facilities. Only gripe would be no Wifi but a good excuse not to do any work so cant complain!

I had such a good nights sleep we didnt want to leave. Also I dont often eat breakfast but glad I did here as it's one of the best i've had from anywhere with a good selection and all local produce.

The owners of the B&B are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable to the area. Even suggesting an alternative route home where we got to see some fantastic views over the mountains- thanks for that!

Fantastic B&B, if in Aberaeron I highly recommend staying here.

5 Star B&B

Simply the best B&B we stayed at during our UK vacation. The bed was sooooo comfortable, the sheets so soft, the people so friendly and the service and breakfast better than most 5 star hotels.

It's worth the few extra dollars/pounds.
