Aberaeron Bicentenary 1807 - 2007

In 1807, the Reverend Alban Thomas Jones Gwynne obtained a Private Act of Parliament, which enabled him to build the Harbour and thus found the town of Aberaeron. We are proud of the maritime, industrial, architectural and cultural heritage, which has grown with the town. In 2007, our Bicentenary year, we are celebrating our heritage and giving thanks to all those who have contributed in so many ways towards Aberaeron.
