The access statement

Cars may be parked at the front of the building however, the parking is public and the Quay is a popular area of the town therefore parking cannot be guaranteed.

The building is in on level land sharing a front hard-surfaced road with neighbouring properties. The hard surfaced road is used as an informal parking area by the public and the road is also used by pedestrians. Beyond the flood defence wall there is a concrete harbour side which is also used by pedestrians. Access between the road and the harbour side is via steps.

The main frontage of the building is currently accessed via a concrete apron which is slightly higher than the road. The main doorway has a width of 800mm and has a slight threshold as does the inner porch door which has a width of 880mm.

There are no bedrooms at ground floor level.

All bedrooms are at first and second storey level. Access to the first floor is via eleven steps to a half landing with two and three steps an additional ten to the second floor. There is no lift available
